Today, November 17, 2011 Captain George Filinis and Mr. Markos Charatsis, our most Senior Captain and Chief Engineer respectively, attended the delivery of the latest addition to our fleet, M/V Desert Victory at HMD Shipyard. Both of them will join the vessel on her maiden voyage.

M/V Desert Hope
One of our senior Masters of our company, Captain Athanasios Aretoulis along with Chief Engineer Mr. Theofilis Alexandros attended the delivery of the latest addition to our fleet, M/V Desert Hope at HMD Shipyard. Both of them will join the vessel on her maiden voyage.
M/V Desert Peace
With great pride and pleasure, we announce the delivery of our latest addition (the second in a series of 8 vessels): M/V Desert Peace was christened on July 1, 2011, during a special ceremony at HMD Shipyard.
M/V Desert Calm
With great pride and pleasure, we announce the delivery of our latest addition (the first in a series of 8 vessels): M/V Desert Calm was christened on May 17, 2011, during a special ceremony atHMD Shipyard. She is flying the Greek flag and she is scheduled to begin her maiden voyage on May 19, 2011.
UPDATE ON NEW DELIVERIES!
It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we are awaiting the delivery of the first HMD Supramax vessel scheduled for May 2011 (out of eight sister ships). It will be followed by the delivery of a second ship which is scheduled for July 2011. We will keep you posted of all upcoming additional deliveries –four (4) to take place in 2011 and the last two (2) to take place in first half of 2012

In an effort to sharpen up our peoples’ skills, we established, at our premises in Piraeus, a Training Center which started its operations on March 8, 2011. The training center is certified by Det Norske Veritas and its goal is to deliver top quality training exclusively to our company’s people, seafarers and office personnel.
